eMusic pppurcha$e$ - Late December 2010: Whole Lotta Luscious Lala

We found beaucoup bon boomboom at eMusic last month and even had to buy a Bonus Pack to accomodate our near-insatiable desires of the Euterpetic kind. (If you're not following all of that, don't worry, neither are we.) Click here to check out all 117 powerpop, indiepop, shoegaze, psych, and garage ditties. Highlights include the 2007 debut by Dutch poppers The Madd, brilliant songs by Sheffield's one-man The Orgone Box, ten jumpers by The Prisoners and The Solarflares (former bands of Graham Day of Graham Day and the Gaolers), and a satisfying stash of psychpop recommended by one of our new friends over at Rock and Roll Tribe. (We'd give you his name but don't have clearance.) Grin-Inducing Bandname o' the Month honors go hands down to Tight Pants Syndrome.
BTW, we were experimenting with Google Docs' Spreadsheet application, which made it easy to list but hard to link. As a result we only did the former and hereby apologize for any inconvenience. Fortunately the numbers of humankind affected by this negligence are negligible, although the individuals involved are deeply cherished by all who labor here at Powerpopulist Central.
