Slumberland has/have (depending on whether you speak/write Brit, Aussie, Kiwi, or otherwise) just announced the release this month of an updated compilation of songs by seminal D.C. indiepoppers Black Tambourine. Available in both LP and CD formats, the album contains all the songs from a 1999 compilation plus six previously unreleased tunes. The band, which hung up the tambo in 1991, has/have regrabbed it to record four new songs they used to perform but never recorded.
