It’s got the power and it’s got the pop, plus clever lyrics and a propulsive bass (played by Redd Kross’ Steve McDonald, sitting in on what turned out to be a temporary basis). It was released as a single between the band’s first and second full-lengths, As Performed By and Record X. “Temporary Fix” is off this year’s highly acclaimed Sinister Barrier.
