The Oohlas

The Oohlas created quite a stir back in late September when they released their first full album, Best Stop Pop. Composed of former Everclear drummer Greg Eklund on guitar, Ollie Stone handling guitar and vocals, and Eklund’s brother Mark on bass, the band just might make you say their first syllable. Followed by the second twice. I want to take this opportunity to thank Jared over at the excellent 5 Acts for permission to link to “Cahuenga Shuffle.” It’s the only place I could find that particular song, and I appreciate Jared’s generosity. 5 Acts is an incredible site, beautifully conceived and presented, and stocked with a rich lode of great music.
